The first thing that stands out about this particular Range Rover Sport is its condition. It is genuinely impressive. Having dealt with plenty of these vehicles over the years, we know how difficult it can be to find examples that still feel as fresh and well cared for as this one. The bodywork is remarkably tidy, with no obvious door dents or careless marks, while the interior shows very little evidence of wear. More importantly, the whole vehicle feels tight and together when you drive it. It is not being presented as a brand-new car, but for a seven-year-old example, it is exceptionally well preserved. You would struggle to guess its age from the way it presents.

The mileage is another significant part of the appeal. At just 20,226 miles, it is a genuinely low-mileage example, and that is reflected in the way it feels. Combined with its condition and ownership history, it was exactly the sort of car we wanted to find.

Finished in Narvik Black, a deep, solid non-metallic black, the exterior has a lovely richness to it. Paired with the black interior and HSE Dynamic styling, it gives the car a purposeful, understated appearance. The electric deployable side steps are a particularly useful addition, making access easier while neatly tucking away when not required.

The specification includes some lovely features, most notably the electric deployable side steps, a refrigerated centre armrest and Meridian sound system. There is also air suspension with multi-terrain settings, cruise control, a reversing camera and electric tailgate. Apple CarPlay is included too, connecting your phone to the vehicle's infotainment system.

This example has had just three owners from new, with the last owner keeping it for over four years. That long period of ownership was one of the reasons we were particularly interested in it. The vehicle has been maintained exclusively by Range Rover main dealers throughout its recorded service history, and we have now carried out a further service and inspection at Priddy's, including an oil service, air and pollen filters and new wiper blades.

The Pirelli Scorpion Verde tyres are fitted all round and show upwards of 6mm of tread. The brakes are also in very good condition throughout. Annual road tax is just £200.

Under the bonnet is Land Rover's 3.0-litre SD V6 diesel engine, producing 306 hp and paired with an automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive. It is a particularly well-suited engine for the Range Rover Sport, offering strong, effortless performance with the refinement and pulling power expected of a large luxury SUV. Combined with the air suspension, it delivers the comfortable, composed driving experience that makes these vehicles so appealing.

We deal with Range Rover Sports regularly, but this is an example that genuinely stands out. The exceptionally low mileage, remarkable condition, deep black finish and long-term previous ownership all come together to make a particularly impressive car.
