With just one owner from new, 10,980 miles and a level of care that becomes apparent the closer you look, our Jaguar E-PACE P300e R-Dynamic HSE Black is a particularly appealing example. Finished in Storm Grey with a black interior, this is one of those cars where the small details tell you a great deal about its previous ownership. The original alloy wheels remain unmarked, all four tyres have over 6mm of tread remaining and the brakes show remarkably little evidence of use. For a car approaching three and a half years old, it's lovely to see one that has clearly been treated with such consideration.

The HSE Black specification is another reason we particularly like this Jaguar. Heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, an electrically adjustable memory driver's seat and a heated steering wheel make this a wonderfully comfortable place to spend time, whatever the weather. The fixed panoramic glass roof brings additional light into the black interior, complemented by a suede headlining that gives the cabin a particularly luxurious finish. Adaptive cruise control and Apple CarPlay are equally welcome for everyday use.

One feature we particularly appreciate is the electrically deployable towbar, operated at the touch of a button and neatly concealed when not required. Our car also benefits from a reversing camera with dedicated towbar view, making this a genuinely useful addition rather than simply another item on the specification list. From its appearance, the towbar shows little indication of previous use.

Underneath, the P300e is a clever combination of a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine and an electric motor driving the rear wheels, producing a combined 305 HP with all-wheel drive. Perhaps its greatest appeal is the ability to cover up to approximately 30 miles on electric power alone, depending on driving conditions. For somebody charging at home, that potentially means completing many everyday journeys without using the petrol engine at all, while still having the freedom of a conventional petrol-powered car for longer distances. Performance is surprisingly strong too, with Jaguar quoting 0–60 mph in approximately 6.1 seconds. It makes for a particularly versatile alternative to a conventional petrol SUV.

The ownership history is refreshingly straightforward. One owner from new, with its pre-delivery inspection completed by Jaguar in July 2023 and a further Jaguar main dealer service in January 2026 at 9,813 miles, including oil, pollen filter and brake fluid. We have subsequently completed our own inspection and pollen filter replacement in November 2026. A Ghost security system is also fitted.

We often find that the best indication of how a car has been treated is in the details that aren't immediately obvious from photographs. The wheels, tyres and brakes on this E-PACE all contribute to a very reassuring overall impression, and having covered fewer than 11,000 miles, it offers an opportunity to buy a remarkably well-presented, high-specification Jaguar without paying the price originally associated with a new example.

For someone looking for a comfortable, attractive and exceptionally well-equipped compact SUV, there is an awful lot to like about our E-PACE. It's the combination of one-owner provenance, low mileage, thoughtful specification and obvious care that makes this particular car worth considering.
