Priddy’s Motor Company are delighted to present this Audi RS5 2.9 TFSI V6 Coupe, showing 36,673 miles and finished in Misano Red Pearl Effect.

This is one of those RS5s that stands out immediately. The Misano Red gives it a real exotic feel, but it is the specification underneath that makes this particular car so interesting. Most importantly, it has the optional carbon ceramic brakes, and they are absolutely incredible. They look fantastic behind the wheels, but more importantly, they give the car an entirely different level of braking performance. With around 90% pad remaining, they are also in lovely condition.

It has had just four owners from new, with the most recent owning it for the last two years. The car has clearly been treated properly throughout its life, and the service history is one of the biggest reasons we wanted this particular RS5. Every recorded service through Audi has been carried out by the main dealer, with the latest Audi service at 33,630 miles before we have now serviced it ourselves.

The history reads exactly how you would want it to. Oil services, inspections, brake fluid and spark plugs have all been carried out as required, and we have just completed a further service and inspection at 36,673 miles with oil, air and pollen filters, brake fluid and wipers. The paperwork supplied with the car is particularly well organised, with invoices and documentation carefully kept. That attention to detail is always a very good indication of how an owner has treated the car.

The specification is excellent. Alongside the carbon ceramic brakes, it has massage front seats with multiple modes and intensity settings, heads-up display, Bang and Olufsen sound, three-zone climate control, reversing camera, blind spot assist, driver memory seating, wireless phone charging and Audi Drive Select with adjustable suspension, sports differential and engine sound settings.

The carbon fibre interior and exterior packages make a noticeable difference to the character of the car. Inside, the quilted leather seats and carbon trim give it a much more special feel, while the exterior carbon details work particularly well against the Misano Red.

It is completely standard, which is exactly how we would want an RS5 like this. It sits on Continental SportContact 7 tyres all round, the proper tyres for a car with this level of performance.

The best thing about this example, though, is how it drives. It feels exceptionally tight and immediately impressive. The 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 is an absolute rocket, but it is the way the whole car feels together that stood out to us. There is a real sense that this particular RS5 has been properly looked after, rather than simply driven hard.

For us, the appeal is the combination of the carbon ceramics, Misano Red, outstanding Audi main dealer history, superb specification and the condition and feel of the car itself. It is a genuine, completely standard RS5 that has clearly received the attention it deserved.
