Priddys Motor Company are delighted to present this 2010 Porsche Boxster S 3.4 PDK, showing only 46,940 miles and finished in Dark Blue Metallic.
This Boxster S has the sort of background that immediately makes it feel different. It has had only two owners from new, with the last gentleman owning it for over seven years, and the reason for sale was a genuinely reluctant one. As he has got older, he found himself using his main car more and more, and rather than let the Porsche sit unused, he wanted it passed on to somebody who would actually enjoy it properly. That tells you a lot about the car before you even see it.
The condition then backs the story up. For a 2010 example, it presents beautifully. The interior is absolutely gorgeous for its age, the discs and pads remain very nice with little wear, and it sits on Michelin tyres on all four corners. The car does not give the impression of something tired or cheaply kept; it feels like an example that has lived a careful, cherished life.
The colour combination is a major part of its charm. Dark Blue Metallic gives the car a deep, elegant look that suits the shape perfectly, and this particular Boxster attracted attention everywhere we took it. Fuel stations, car parks, passing conversations — people commented on the condition and the colour combination repeatedly. Some cars photograph well but feel ordinary in person; this one has genuine presence when you stand beside it.
The 987-generation Boxster S is also a brilliant driver’s car. The 3.4-litre naturally aspirated flat-six sits behind you, the balance is superb, and the whole car has that connected Porsche feel that newer sports cars often smooth away. It is quick, mechanical, beautifully balanced and still usable enough to enjoy regularly. With 310hp and PDK, it gives you sharp response and proper performance without losing the simplicity and feel that make these so rewarding.
The specification is well suited to the car too, with PDK, heated front seats, cruise control, wind deflector, fully automatic climate control, rear ParkAssist, interior-colour floor mats, storage box and 18-inch Boxster S II alloys. It is not trying to be over-complicated; it has the right usability features while keeping the main focus exactly where it should be — the drive.
The service record is another huge strength. It began with Porsche main dealer servicing, including an intermediate service in 2012 and a major service with spark plugs in 2014, before being looked after by the customer’s trusted local garage almost every year. That is far ahead of Porsche’s two-year service schedule and shows the sort of routine care this car has received. In 2025, it also had coolant pipes and hoses replaced at a cost of £1,801.46, which is a very useful piece of recent maintenance.
We are now carrying out a major service ourselves, including oil, pollen filter, air filter, brake fluid, coolant, spark plugs, fuel filter and wipers. That means the next owner receives the car freshly prepared, with significant recent maintenance behind it and a service portfolio that reflects real care rather than bare-minimum ownership.
A two-owner Dark Blue Metallic Boxster S with low mileage, annual-style servicing, recent coolant pipe and hose work, Michelin tyres and a reluctant sale from a long-term owner. This is a genuinely special example, and one that feels every bit as good as its story suggests.
