This is not just another Defender that looks good in a photograph. We chose this one because the whole package felt different: Pangea Green paintwork, a matching dark green leather interior, dark oak trim, 7 seats, air suspension, heated and cooled front seats, heated second and third row seats, Meridian surround sound, 360-degree cameras, electric deployable towbar, strong main dealer history and only two owners from new. It is the sort of Defender you open the door to and immediately realise it has been specified with proper thought.

The colour combination is the real showpiece. Pangea Green already suits a Defender brilliantly, but paired with the matching dark green leather and dark oak interior trim, it gives this car a far more sophisticated feel than you normally expect from one. It still has the rugged Defender presence from the outside, but inside it feels warm, expensive and considered. The matching exterior and interior are what make it feel so special.

The 7-seat layout is another big part of the appeal. It is useful without being overcomplicated. There are no slow electric seats that take an age to fold or raise; it is a simple pull-and-use setup, which suits the Defender perfectly. The second and third row heated seats also make this feel far more premium for passengers, while the second-row climate control means those in the back are not treated as an afterthought.

Specification is genuinely excellent. It has heated and cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, memory front seats, heated second and third row seats, Meridian surround sound, blind spot assist, adaptive cruise control, air suspension, digital dash, cooler in the front armrest, tilt and slide panoramic roof, wireless Apple CarPlay, timed climate, Wade Sensing, trailer package and the excellent 360-degree camera system with under-view camera and 3D modelling. It has the features you actually notice and appreciate every day.

The electrically deployable towbar is also worth pointing out. It has the factory trailer package, but the towbar appears unused, so you get the benefit and capability without the car feeling like it has lived a hard towing life. That is exactly how you would want to find one.

The P300 petrol engine works surprisingly well in the Defender. Some smaller engines in larger SUVs can feel strained, but this does not. It is smooth, refined and has enough performance to make the car feel easy to drive, with plenty there when you need to overtake. It also brings a lighter, cleaner feel than some of the larger-engine variants, while still suiting the Defender’s character very well.

On the road, it has that proper Defender presence. You sit high, you can see over everything, and the car feels substantial without being difficult to place, helped massively by the cameras and driving aids. The air suspension makes a real difference too, giving it a more settled and premium feel than the spring-suspended cars.

The history supports the car nicely. It has been maintained by Land Rover main dealer up to our ownership, with a Land Rover pre-delivery inspection in 2022, Land Rover preparation and servicing in 2025, and we will now carry out a fresh service before sale including oil, pollen filter, brake fluid, wipers and air filter. It has had only two owners from new, with the first owner keeping it from 2022 to 2025 and the current owner replacing it with a brand-new Velar.

Condition is very good throughout. The interior presents beautifully, the Pangea Green cabin looks superb, it sits on Pirelli Scorpion Zero tyres on all four corners, and the brakes show healthy life all round.

This is a genuinely special Defender 110.
