What makes this Vantage particularly interesting is the way it has been looked after and the money invested in the right areas. With just 44,204 miles, a long history of Aston Martin main dealer servicing and nearly £9,000 spent with David Appleby in 2024, it has been maintained to a standard that is difficult to replicate today.
The 2024 work included a DAE ASM twin-plate clutch, a worthwhile upgrade to the original single-disc system that gives the car greater torque capacity and a much better low-speed drive. It also received VelocityAP secondary decats, and this is where the car really comes alive.
The sound from the 4.7 V8 is superb. The secondary decats give it a deeper, more aggressive character while retaining the refinement to make the car enjoyable on the road. It is exactly the sort of sound you want from an Aston Martin V8.
Inside, the cabin is arguably the most beautiful part of this particular car. The black leather, suede and Alcantara are brought together by red stitching that runs throughout the cabin, and it is exceptionally well executed. From the intricate stitching across the extended leather dashboard and door cards, to the Vantage S seats, suede roof lining, Alcantara steering wheel and matching Vantage S floor mats, there is a consistency to the design that makes the interior feel genuinely special.
The history backs up the story. Aston Martin main dealer servicing was carried out from 2014 through to 2021, followed by recognised specialist maintenance with Mercare and David Appleby. David Appleby carried out further maintenance in 2022, the major 2024 work and another inspection in June 2026. We have since completed our own inspection in August 2026.
Hankook Ventus S1 evo 3 tyres are fitted all round with good tread remaining, and the car presents exceptionally well throughout.
The previous owner covered barely 1,000 miles in three years, which is ultimately why it has come to us. A low-mileage V8 S with the expensive mechanical work already taken care of and an interior that is genuinely beautiful.
