If you know the N430, you will know why this one matters. It is not simply a V8 Vantage with a few cosmetic differences. The N430 was Aston Martin’s road-going interpretation of its Nürburgring-inspired Vantage, bringing together the 4.7-litre naturally aspirated V8, Vantage S suspension and steering, forged lightweight wheels, unique N430 detailing and the later Vanquish-inspired centre console.
It is a particularly appealing combination because you still get everything that makes the V8 Vantage special, but with a sharper edge underneath it. 430 HP from a naturally aspirated 4.7-litre V8, no turbochargers and a chassis developed to give the car a more focused feel. It is fast enough to be exciting, but the real attraction is the way it delivers its performance and the character that comes with it.
The history is perhaps the biggest reassurance of all. Every recorded service throughout its life has been carried out by Aston Martin main dealers, with servicing carried out annually regardless of mileage. That is an exceptional record for a car now approaching ten years old.
