The vehicle has clearly benefited from ongoing maintenance throughout its life, including servicing with both independent and specialist garages. More notable recent work includes gearbox and differential servicing, replacement of the front differential and a fresh service completed by ourselves as part of our preparation process.

Recently taken in part exchange against a Range Rover, this X5 immediately struck us as a genuine and honest example. The 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine remains one of BMW's finest, and when paired with the comfort, practicality and road presence of the X5, it is easy to understand why these continue to be such popular family SUVs.
