Land Rover Discovery M3 powered Rally Car with full MSA log book and meets Comp Safari spec.
This vehicle took me 5 years to build out of all new parts. I have hundreds of pictures of the build which I am happy to email to any prospective buyer upon request. This is a genuine sale as I lost my left leg due to a motorcycle accident on 28 Feb 2017 and can no longer drive or race the vehicle.
The car is in excellent condition with very few rallying marks.
The car has competed in stage rallies and has finished at the sharp end on numerous occassions embarrassing many people with WRC spec cars! The car is quite famous in Landrover and rallying circles due to a viral video (over 10 million views and 2 million shares on facebook) and its ability to look like a landrover but go like a WRC car.

I built the vehicle to be competitive in both rallying and comp safari racing so thus it is built with great strength and reliability in mind. To that end it has never let me down and requires little or no servicing between events. I would happily drive it to Scotland, do an event, and then drive it back home. All of the components are of the best quality that I could lay my hands on at the time of building hence the reliability and strength. It has been a labour of love and I am sad to see it go.
BMW E36 M3 engine mid mounted (see pics) with tuned ECU and de-cat, ARP big end bearing bolts, factory throttle bodies. Approx 350bhp.
Uprated late TD5 gear box with lightened and shortened transfer box with low range removed and locked in Diff-Lock.Geared down to do approx 105 mph for max aceleration.
ARP twin plate racing paddle clutch (see pictures) with bespoke very light flywheel.
Porsche 911 C4S viscous coupling driving front wheels (5-40% of power to front wheels).
KAM 4 pin Limited Slip Diffs on front and rear (Front slightly more open than rear).
BMW 750 IL front Brembo aluminium brake calipers and discs (much larger than standard).
Fox 14 inch coil overs on front suspension.
King 14 inch coil overs and 14 inch triple bypass shock absorbers on rear axle.
Bespoke aluminium fuel tank with lift pump, swirl pot and Bosch high pressure rally spec main fuel pump.
Chassis reworked to use all 14 inches of travel on suspension and to lower the vehicle stance.
Strengthened and lightened chassis, shot blasted and powder coated.
All seats and harness are in date and MSA approved (seats new this year).
Bespoke CDS 2 roll cage which picks up suspension points and is beyond minimum requirement.
Lightweight disc type handbrake (for MOT purposes).
Body has been extensively lightened including all bracing removed, glass replaced with bespoke lexion panes, doors are extensively lightened too dramatically reducing the overall weight of the vehicle.
Heater box removed and windscreen replaced with heated screen for weight saving.
Peltor intercom system.
Many spares including lots of new panels, oil coolers, roughly 3 sets of wheels ( 6 x sticky tarmac tyres and 6 x gravel tyres).
